However it does state that each piece sent by the client has a date and time and that the server will collect all information in chronological order from all players prior to sending it back. According to the video, a CS: GO server will be able to send up to twice as much data as a 64-tick servers. This means that even when the tick rate of the game is increased to 128 Hz it will still be able handle your commands immediately. Micro-tick updates also decrease the time it takes to input by making sure that the server reacts to your actions without any glitches or delays. Valve's technological improvements to the game are only the beginning. Valve uses particles and smoke that are dynamic to improve how smoke interacts with the environment.
